September 30, 2005: Earlier this month, Pakistani troops captured an al Qaeda/Taliban base near the Afghan border. In addition to Pakistani and foreign terrorists captured, there was a great deal of material taken as well. This included guns, ammo, communications gear, laptops, and what was described as a “Chinese UAV”. Actually, it was a fairly large (bright yellow) remote control aircraft. A hobby item, actually. One of the Pakistani reporters later found an identical one in a big city hobby shop, selling for $55. The aircraft was made in China. It turns out that China (and Taiwan) are major manufacturers of radio controlled (RC) aircraft for hobbyists. One such model, bright yellow and weighing six pounds, was found in the catalog of a Chinese manufacturer. American troops, usually RC aircraft hobbyists, have modified such aircraft to carry a video camera and a transmitter, and use them in Iraq. Such field expedient UAVs don’t have much range (about a kilometer), and can only stay in the air for about 30 minutes per sortie. But these things do the job, giving the troops a view of what’s behind the next hill, or lurking in the alleyways they are about to pass. There’s no reason the al Qaeda gang up in the mountain could not have used their little (well, these things have a wing span of 5-6 feet) RC aircraft for more serious matters.

A brand-new SOULFLY track, entitled "Carved Inside", has been posted online at this location (MP3, 3.3 MB). The song is the first single off the group's upcoming album, "Dark Ages", due on October 4 via Roadrunner Records. A video for the song, described as "dark" and full of "fire," was filmed at a 700-year-old fortress on the shores of the Danube river in Serbia. Later in the year, a video for "Frontlines", which was filmed during the same week as "Carved Inside", will premiere as the follow-up single to "Carved Inside".
The follow-up to 2004's "Prophecy", "Dark Ages" was produced by SOULFLY mainman Max Cavalera and was mixed by Terry Date, who has previously worked with PANTERA and DEFTONES, among others.

Akhbar Britain The Observer melaporkan, ikan lumba-lumba itu mungkin mengambil kesempatan melepaskan diri selepas kawasan yang menempatkannya di pesisiran pantai New Orleans, ditenggelami air berikutan kehadiran Katrina pada 29 Ogos lalu.
Namun, kehilangannya itu sebaliknya mendatangkan risiko kepada penyelam dan pemain luncur ombak kerana membawa senjata bahaya iaitu damak yang bertoksik.
Tentera laut AS mengaku ia melatih ikan lumba-lumba berkenaan bagi tujuan ketenteraan, tetapi enggan mengesahkan sama ada binatang itu hilang.
Ikan itu sememangnya dilatih tentera AS untuk menembak pengganas serta menunjukkan sebarang kegiatan risikan di dasar laut.

STOCKHOLM (AFP) - Two-thirds of Swedes secretly read their partner's mobile phone text messages, in particular when he or she nips off to the loo, according to a recent study.Technorati tags: sms, mobile, odd

Sixty-four percent of those questioned by mobile portal Halebop for Swedish operator TeliaSonera said they read their partners' SMS messages purely out of curiosity, but one-fourth admitted that they did it out of jealousy.
Most people, 47 percent, said they secretly peeked into their partner's phone when he or she was in the bathroom or shower, while others said they did it when their partner was sleeping or had forgotten to take their mobile.
Sixty-three percent said they were particularly interested in reading their partner's phones messages after he or she had been to a bar or restaurant, while only four percent said they looked after their partner returned from a work conference.
The study also showed that 86 percent of people had flirted with someone by SMS, and 40 percent had had SMS sex. Seven percent said they had had SMS sex with an unknown person.
The study questioned 685 people in Sweden from August 25 through September 5.

Windows tips/shortcut
- Press Win+L to switch to the Welcome screen.
- Press Win+L to lock your workstation
- You can switch users without going through the Welcome screen: From Task Manager, go to the Users tab, right-click a user, and select Connect.
- Hold down the shift key in the shutdown dialog to change "Stand By" to "Hibernate". Or just press H to hibernate instantly. You can even use the Power Control Panel to configure your power button to hibernate.
- To disable the password when resuming from standby or hibernation, open the Power Control Panel and uncheck "Prompt for password after returning from standby" on the Advanced tab.
- You can rename multiple files all at once: Select a group of files, right-click the first file, and select "Rename". Type in a name for the first file, and the rest will follow.
- Hold down the shift key when switching to thumbnail view to hide the file names. Do it again to bring them back.
- When dragging a file in Explorer, you can control the operation that will be performed when you release the mouse button:
- Hold the Control key to force a Copy.

Asal Usul Kejadian Adam A.S.
Kita selalu mendengar kisahnya Nabi Adam AS.Dan kita juga terlalu tahu tentang kejadianya manusia itu adalah dari tanah. Tetapi apakah kita tahu akan tanahnya itu? Apakah kita tahu akan prosesnya kejadian itu? Mari kita baca kupasan yang sedikit ini, mudah-mudahan kita lebih mengetahui tentangnya dan Insyaallah dapatlah kita mempelajarinya bersama-sama.
Berpesan-pesanlah pada kebaikan dan berpesan-pesanlah pada kesabaran.
(Al-A'ssr) "Betapa payahnya malaikat-malaikat meminta tanah dari bumi untuk menjadikan nabi Adam A.S (Abul Basyar/Bapa segala manusia)".
Pada suatu ketika, Allah SWT menitahkan kepada malaikat Jibril supaya turun ke bumi untuk mengambil sebahagian tanahnya untuk mencipta Adam. Akan tetapi apabila beliau sampai ke bumi, bumi enggan membenarkan tanahnya diambil untuk dijadikan Adam kerana bumi khuatir Adam akan melakukan kemungkaran kepada Allah. Lalu Jibril kembali ke hadrat Allah memberitahu bahawa ia tidak dapat berbuat apa-apa apabila mendengar mendengar sumpah bumi.
Setelah itu, Allah memerintah malaikat Mikail. Jawapan bumi masih sama lalu Allah memerintahkan malaikat Israfil dan jawapan bumi masih tidak berganjak. Masing-masing kembali dengan jawapan yang hampa.
Akhirnya, Allah menyuruh malaikat Izrail turun ke bumi.Kata Allah: "Hai Izrail! Engkaulah kini yang aku tugaskan mengambil tanah. Meskipun bumi bersumpah-sumpah dengan ucapan, jangan engkau mundur. Katakan bahawa kerjamu atas perintah dan atas namaKu. "Apabila Izrail turun ke bumi dan menyampaikan perintah Allah kepada bumi,maka akhirnya bumi mengizinkan tanahnya diambil. Setelah Izrail mengambil beberapa jenis tanah,kembalilah ia ke hadrat Allah.
Lalu Allah berfirman: "Ya Izrail, pertama engkau yang Ku tugaskan mengambil tanah, dan kemudian di belakang hari kelak akan kutugaskan engkau mencabut roh manusia."
Maka khuatirlah Izrail kerana bimbang akan dibenci oleh umat manusia. Lalu Allah berfirman lagi: "Tidak, mereka tidak akan memusuhi kamu. Aku yang mengaturnya, dan Aku jadikan kematian mereka itu bersebab antaranya terbunuh, terbakar, sakit dan sebagainya.

2. Telinganya dari tanah Bukit Thursina, kerana dia alat pendengar dan tempat menerima nasihat.
3. Dahinya dari tanah Iraq,kerana disitu tempat sujud kepada.
4. Mukanya dari tanah Aden, kerana disitu tempat berhias dan tempat kecantikan.
5. Matanya dari tanah telaga Al-Kautsar,tempat menarik perhatian.
6. Giginya dari tanah Al-Kautsar,tempat memanis-manis.
7. Tangan kanannya dari tanah Kaabah,untuk mencari nafkah dan kerjasama,sesama manusia.
8. Tangan kirinya dari tanah Paris, tempat beristinjak.
9. Perutnya dari tanah Babylon. Disitulah tempat seks(berahi) dan tipudaya syaitan untuk menjerumuskan manusia ke lembah dosa.
10. Tulangnya dari tanah Bukit Thursina, alat peneguh tubuh manusia.
11. Dua kakinya dari tanah India, tempat berdiri dan jalan.
12. Hatinya dari tanah syurga Firdaus,kerana disitulah iman,keyakinan,ilmu,kemahuan dan sebagainya.
13.Lidahnya dari tanah Tha'if, tempat mengucap Syahadat,bersyukur dan berdoakan kepada Tuhan.
Proses kejadiannya:
1. Ketika Allah jadikan Adam,tanah itu dicampur dengan air tawar, air masin, air hanyir, angin dan api. Kemudian Allah resapkan Nur(cahaya) kebenaran dalam diri Adam dengan berbagai macam "sifat".
2. Lalu tubuh Adam itu digenggam dengan genggaman "Jabarut" kemudian diletakkan didalam "Alam Malakut".
3. Sesungguhnya tanah yang akan dijadikan "tubuh Adam" adalah tanah pilihan. Maka sebelum dijadikan patung, tanah itu dicampurkan dengan rempah-rempah dan wangi-wangian dari sifat Nur sifat Allah, dan dirasmikan dengan air hujan "Barul Uluhiyah".
4. Kemudian tubuh itu dibenamkan didalam air "Kudral-Izzah-Nya" iaitu sifat "Jalan dan Jammal". Lalu terciptalah tubuh Adam yang sempurna.
5. Demikian pula roh,ketika itu diperintah masuk kedalam tubuh Adam, ia merasa malas dan enggan, lalu ia berputar-putar, mengelilingi patung Adam yang terlantar. Kemudian Allah menyuruh malaikat Izrail untuk memaksa roh itu masuk. Akhirnya mahu tidak mahu roh itupun masuk dan menyerah kepada Izrail.
Menurut riwayat ketika Adam masih berada di syurga, sangat baik sekali kulitnya. Tidak seperti warna kulit manusia.Kerana Adam telah diturunkan ke dunia, terjadilah perubahan pada warna kulitnya. Sebagai pengetahuan, yang masih tertinggal warnanya hanyalah pada kuku manusia. Oleh itu, meskipun orang kulitnya hitam, tetapi warna kukunya adalah sama, ialah putih kemerah-merahan.
Dijadikan pada tubuh Adam ada sembilan rongga atau liang. Tujuh buah liang dikepala,dan dua buah liang di bawah badan letaknya.
Tujuh buah letaknya adalah :
1. Di Kepala ialad Dua liang mata, Dua liang telinga, Dua liang hidung dan sebuah liang mulut.
2. Dibawah ialah Sebuah liang kemaluan dan liang dubur.
Dijadikan pula lima buah pancaindera:
A. Mata alat penglihatan
B. Hidung alat penciuman
C. Telinga alat pendengaran
D. Mulut alat merasa manis, masin dan sebagainya.
E. Anggota tubuh lainya seperti kulit, telapak tangan, untuk merasa halus, kasar dan sebagainya.
Setelah Roh masuk kedalam tubuh Adam, lalu roh itu masuk perlahan-lahan sehingga ke kepalanya yang mengambil masa 200 tahun.
Demikianlah Allah memberi kekuatan pada Izrail untuk memasukkan roh ke dalam tubuh Adam. Setelah roh meresap ke kepala Adam, maka terjadilah otak dan tersusunlah urat-urat sarafnya dengan sempurna. Kemudian terjadilah matanya dan seketika itu matanya terus terbuka melihat dan melirik kekiri, ke kanan dan kebawah dimana pada masa itu bahagian badannya masih merupakan tanah keras. Dilihatnya kiri dan kanan para malaikat yang sedang menyaksikan kejadian dia. Ketika itu dia telah dapat mendengar para malaikat mengucapkan tasbih dengan suara yang merdu dan mengasyikkan. Kemudian ketika roh sampai kehidungnya lalu ia bersin, serta mulutnya terbuka. Ketika itulah Allah ajarkan padanya ucapan Alhamdulillah. Itulah ucapan Adam pertama kalinya kehadrat Allah. Lalu Allah berkata Yarhamukallah" yang membawa erti: "Semoga engkau diberi rahmat Allah". Oleh kerana itu jika seseorang itu bersin, menjadi sunat mengucap "Alhamdulillah" dan orang yang mendengarnya disunatkan pula mengucapkan Yarhamukallah". Kemudian ketika roh sampai pada dadanya, tiba-tiba saja ia mahu bangun. Padahal sebahagian bawah badannya masih tanah dan keras. Disini menunjukkan sifat manusia yang suka tergesa-gesa (tidak sabar). Sebagaimana firman Allah SWT bermaksud:
"Dan adalah manusia itu suka tergesa-gesa".(Al-Israk:II)
Maka ketika roh itu sampai dibahagian perutnya, maka terjadilah susunan isi perut dengan sempurna. Maka seketika itu terasalah lapar. Kemudian terus roh itu meresap sampai ke seluruh tubuh, tangan, kaki lalu terjadi darah daging dan tulang. Urat-urat berkulit dengan sempurna, yang mana kulit itu kian lama kian cantik dan halus.
Begitulah proses kejadian-kejadian tubuh Adam. Setelah kejadian Adam sempurna sebagai manusia, maka dialah merupakan makhluk manusia yang pertama. Wajahnya cukup cantik, semua malaikat berasa kagum melihat Adam yang begitu menawan. Kemudian Adam diarak oleh malaikat-malaikat selama 100 tahun lalu diperkenalkan kepada seluruh penghuni dari langit pertama hinggalah kelangit tujuh sebelum dibawa ke Syurga tempat mula-mula Adam dijadikan.

Setelah itu, Allah memerintah malaikat Mikail. Jawapan bumi masih sama lalu Allah memerintahkan malaikat Israfil dan jawapan bumi masih tidak berganjak. Masing-masing kembali dengan jawapan yang hampa.
Akhirnya, Allah menyuruh malaikat Izrail turun ke bumi.Kata Allah: "Hai Izrail! Engkaulah kini yang aku tugaskan mengambil tanah. Meskipun bumi bersumpah-sumpah dengan ucapan, jangan engkau mundur. Katakan bahawa kerjamu atas perintah dan atas namaKu. "Apabila Izrail turun ke bumi dan menyampaikan perintah Allah kepada bumi,maka akhirnya bumi mengizinkan tanahnya diambil. Setelah Izrail mengambil beberapa jenis tanah,kembalilah ia ke hadrat Allah.
Lalu Allah berfirman: "Ya Izrail, pertama engkau yang Ku tugaskan mengambil tanah, dan kemudian di belakang hari kelak akan kutugaskan engkau mencabut roh manusia."
Maka khuatirlah Izrail kerana bimbang akan dibenci oleh umat manusia. Lalu Allah berfirman lagi: "Tidak, mereka tidak akan memusuhi kamu. Aku yang mengaturnya, dan Aku jadikan kematian mereka itu bersebab antaranya terbunuh, terbakar, sakit dan sebagainya.

Menurut Ibnu Abbas:-

3. Dahinya dari tanah Iraq,kerana disitu tempat sujud kepada.
4. Mukanya dari tanah Aden, kerana disitu tempat berhias dan tempat kecantikan.
5. Matanya dari tanah telaga Al-Kautsar,tempat menarik perhatian.
6. Giginya dari tanah Al-Kautsar,tempat memanis-manis.
7. Tangan kanannya dari tanah Kaabah,untuk mencari nafkah dan kerjasama,sesama manusia.
8. Tangan kirinya dari tanah Paris, tempat beristinjak.

Proses kejadiannya:
1. Ketika Allah jadikan Adam,tanah itu dicampur dengan air tawar, air masin, air hanyir, angin dan api. Kemudian Allah resapkan Nur(cahaya) kebenaran dalam diri Adam dengan berbagai macam "sifat".
2. Lalu tubuh Adam itu digenggam dengan genggaman "Jabarut" kemudian diletakkan didalam "Alam Malakut".
3. Sesungguhnya tanah yang akan dijadikan "tubuh Adam" adalah tanah pilihan. Maka sebelum dijadikan patung, tanah itu dicampurkan dengan rempah-rempah dan wangi-wangian dari sifat Nur sifat Allah, dan dirasmikan dengan air hujan "Barul Uluhiyah".
4. Kemudian tubuh itu dibenamkan didalam air "Kudral-Izzah-Nya" iaitu sifat "Jalan dan Jammal". Lalu terciptalah tubuh Adam yang sempurna.
5. Demikian pula roh,ketika itu diperintah masuk kedalam tubuh Adam, ia merasa malas dan enggan, lalu ia berputar-putar, mengelilingi patung Adam yang terlantar. Kemudian Allah menyuruh malaikat Izrail untuk memaksa roh itu masuk. Akhirnya mahu tidak mahu roh itupun masuk dan menyerah kepada Izrail.
Menurut riwayat ketika Adam masih berada di syurga, sangat baik sekali kulitnya. Tidak seperti warna kulit manusia.Kerana Adam telah diturunkan ke dunia, terjadilah perubahan pada warna kulitnya. Sebagai pengetahuan, yang masih tertinggal warnanya hanyalah pada kuku manusia. Oleh itu, meskipun orang kulitnya hitam, tetapi warna kukunya adalah sama, ialah putih kemerah-merahan.
Dijadikan pada tubuh Adam ada sembilan rongga atau liang. Tujuh buah liang dikepala,dan dua buah liang di bawah badan letaknya.
Tujuh buah letaknya adalah :
1. Di Kepala ialad Dua liang mata, Dua liang telinga, Dua liang hidung dan sebuah liang mulut.
2. Dibawah ialah Sebuah liang kemaluan dan liang dubur.
Dijadikan pula lima buah pancaindera:
A. Mata alat penglihatan
B. Hidung alat penciuman
C. Telinga alat pendengaran
D. Mulut alat merasa manis, masin dan sebagainya.
E. Anggota tubuh lainya seperti kulit, telapak tangan, untuk merasa halus, kasar dan sebagainya.
Setelah Roh masuk kedalam tubuh Adam, lalu roh itu masuk perlahan-lahan sehingga ke kepalanya yang mengambil masa 200 tahun.
Demikianlah Allah memberi kekuatan pada Izrail untuk memasukkan roh ke dalam tubuh Adam. Setelah roh meresap ke kepala Adam, maka terjadilah otak dan tersusunlah urat-urat sarafnya dengan sempurna. Kemudian terjadilah matanya dan seketika itu matanya terus terbuka melihat dan melirik kekiri, ke kanan dan kebawah dimana pada masa itu bahagian badannya masih merupakan tanah keras. Dilihatnya kiri dan kanan para malaikat yang sedang menyaksikan kejadian dia. Ketika itu dia telah dapat mendengar para malaikat mengucapkan tasbih dengan suara yang merdu dan mengasyikkan. Kemudian ketika roh sampai kehidungnya lalu ia bersin, serta mulutnya terbuka. Ketika itulah Allah ajarkan padanya ucapan Alhamdulillah. Itulah ucapan Adam pertama kalinya kehadrat Allah. Lalu Allah berkata Yarhamukallah" yang membawa erti: "Semoga engkau diberi rahmat Allah". Oleh kerana itu jika seseorang itu bersin, menjadi sunat mengucap "Alhamdulillah" dan orang yang mendengarnya disunatkan pula mengucapkan Yarhamukallah". Kemudian ketika roh sampai pada dadanya, tiba-tiba saja ia mahu bangun. Padahal sebahagian bawah badannya masih tanah dan keras. Disini menunjukkan sifat manusia yang suka tergesa-gesa (tidak sabar). Sebagaimana firman Allah SWT bermaksud:
"Dan adalah manusia itu suka tergesa-gesa".(Al-Israk:II)
Maka ketika roh itu sampai dibahagian perutnya, maka terjadilah susunan isi perut dengan sempurna. Maka seketika itu terasalah lapar. Kemudian terus roh itu meresap sampai ke seluruh tubuh, tangan, kaki lalu terjadi darah daging dan tulang. Urat-urat berkulit dengan sempurna, yang mana kulit itu kian lama kian cantik dan halus.
Begitulah proses kejadian-kejadian tubuh Adam. Setelah kejadian Adam sempurna sebagai manusia, maka dialah merupakan makhluk manusia yang pertama. Wajahnya cukup cantik, semua malaikat berasa kagum melihat Adam yang begitu menawan. Kemudian Adam diarak oleh malaikat-malaikat selama 100 tahun lalu diperkenalkan kepada seluruh penghuni dari langit pertama hinggalah kelangit tujuh sebelum dibawa ke Syurga tempat mula-mula Adam dijadikan.

We all know the story...it costs 5 times as much to bring in a new customer than to keep an existing one. When people become your customer, they want to be loyal. So, why do they leave? Most of the time, they leave because of small oversights and lack of attention to plain, old customer service.
When customers call on the phone, we are provided with a tremendous opportunity to reinforce and grow the relationship. It makes good (economic) sense to take the extra time and effort to make these calls as meaningful and service oriented as possible. Attention to customer service will go a long way in helping you to satisfy your customers and make them feel as if they are truly special.
1. Always tell your customer what you CAN do for them. Don't begin your conversation by telling them what you CAN'T do.
2. Allow irate customers to vent. Do not interrupt them or start to speak until they have finished having their say.
3. Diffuse anger by saying "I'm sorry or "I apologize."
4. Use your customer's name at different points in the call.
5. Make certain that your "solution" to the customer's problem is acceptable to them. Get their approval and agreement.
6. Always conclude each call with a "Thank you" or a verbal message of appreciation for their business.
7. Make certain that your tone of voice is in sync with your words. Remember your tone of voice can completely contradict your message.
8. Listen attentively! There is nothing worse than asking an irate or troubled customer to REPEAT what they have just said.
9. Go the extra step by following up on your solution. Re-contact the customer to make certain that everything has been handled in a satisfactory manner, and they are pleased with the outcome.
10. Remember to ask if there is anything else that you can do for your customer. Taking the time to ask the question often results in increased business and a more committed customer.

There is a small town called Sedlec, some seventy kilometers east of the capital of the Czech Republic, Prague. This town Sedlec has an unusual, weird scary church. The inside of this church is dembellished with real human bones.
In year 1218 AD, when a certain Abbot Henry made a pilgrimage to the holy land and brought back a jar full of soil from cemetery, which he spread over the Church. As a result the church came to be regarded as more sacred and turned into a popular burial spot. By 1318, more than thirty thousands bodies were buried there and by 1511, it became necessary to dig out the graves of their forefathers and remove the older bones to make place for the new ones. The dugout human bones then became the construction materials for the macabre creations. In 1870 a local woodcarver was hired by the Duke of Shwartzenberg to decorate the inside of the church with the human remains of their forefathers. They were some forty thousand pieces of dead human bones. It is now the Church of Human Bones. To a visitor it is weird, ghastly, horrifying place nowhere to be near in dark alone.

Sepasang suami isteri dalam perjalanan ke bandar dan kerana jaraknya yang jauh, mereka siggah untuk menginap di sebuah hotel sebelum meneruskan perjalanan keesokan paginya.
Akhirnya mereka bertemu dengan sebuah Hotel yang cukup bagus walaupun tidak berbintang dan bermalam. Keesokan paginya ketika akan keluar hotel, mereka dikenakan bayaran RM 200.00
"Hah? Ini kadar hotel 5 bintang. Awak tak salah kira ke?" tanya si suami terkejut.
Dia meminta dipanggilkan pengurus hotel dan membantah harga yang terlalu mahal. Setelah mendengar dengan penuh perhatian, pengurus berkata, "Hotel ABCD ini dilengkapi dengan kolam renang taraf antarabangsa, ruang persidangan dan berbagai hiburan semuanya bertaraf antarabangsa."
"Tapi kami tidak langsung menggunakan kemudahan tersebut," kata si suami berkeras.
"Salah Encik sendiri. kemudahan itu disediakan untuk dimanfaatkan," kata si pengurus tak mau kalah.
Setelah termenung sejenak si suami membuka dompetnya, mengeluarkan wang RM 50.00.. dan mengulurkannya kepada pengurus tersebut.
"Ini baru RM 50.00?" tanya pengurus.
"Baki RM 150.00 lagi tu saya dah bayar... iaitu saya relakan Encik tidur dengan isteri saya"
"Tapi saya tidak tidur dengan isteri Encik..."
"Salah Encik sendiri. ianya sudah tersedia semalaman, kenapa tidak dimanfaatkan..."

AS THE WAR between the United States and Al Qaeda enters its fifth year, the nature of the armed, transnational Islamist group's campaign remains misunderstood. With the conflict viewed largely as an open-and-shut matter of good versus evil, nonmilitary engagement with Al Qaeda is depicted as improper and unnecessary.Technorati tags: al qaeda
Yet developing a strategy for the next phase of the global response to Al Qaeda requires understanding the enemy -- something Western analysts have systematically failed to do. Sept. 11 was not an unprovoked, gratuitous act. It was a military operation researched and planned since at least 1996 and conducted by a trained commando in the context of a war that had twice been declared officially and publicly. The operation targeted two military locations and a civilian facility regarded as the symbol of US economic and financial power. The assault was the culmination of a larger campaign, which forecast impact, planned for the enemy's reaction, and was designed to gain the tactical upper hand.
Overwhelmingly centered on the martial aspects of the conflict, scholars and policymakers have been too focused on Al Qaeda's ''irrationality," ''fundamentalism," and ''hatred" -- and these conceptions continue to color key analyses. The sway of such explanations is particularly surprising in the face of nonambiguous statements made by Al Qaeda as to the main reasons for its war on the United States. These have been offered consistently since 1996, notably in the August 1996 and February 1998 declarations of war and the November 2002 and October 2004 justifications for its continuation.
Since the attacks on New York and Washington, Osama bin Laden and Ayman al-Zawahiri have delivered, respectively, 18 and 15 messages via audio or videotape making a three-part case: The United States must end its military presence in the Middle East, its uncritical political support and military aid of Israel's occupation of Palestinian territories, and its support of corrupt and coercive regimes in the Arab and Muslim world.
Al Qaeda believes that the citizens of the states with whom it is at war bear a responsibility for the policies of their governments. Such democratization of responsibility rests, it has been argued by bin Laden, in the citizens' ability to elect and dismiss the representatives who make foreign policy decisions on their behalf.
Al Qaeda is an industrious, committed, and power-wielding organization waging a political, limited, and evasive war of attrition -- not a religious, open-ended, apocalyptic one. Over the past year, it has struck private and public alliances, offered truces, affected elections, and gained an international stature beyond a mere security threat.
It has implemented a clearly articulated policy, demonstrated strategic operational flexibility, and skillfully conducted low-cost, high-impact operations (Riyadh 1995, Dhahran 1996, Nairobi and Dar es Salaam 1998, Yemen 2000, New York and Washington 2001, Bali 2002, Istanbul 2003, Madrid 2004, and London 2005). Of late, this versatile actor has exhibited an ability to operate amid heightened international counter-measures.
No longer able to enjoy a centralized sanctuary in Afghanistan after 2002, Al Qaeda's leadership opted for an elastic defense strategy relying on mobile forces, scaled-up international operations, and expanded global tactical relationships. It encouraged the proliferation of mini Al Qaedas, able to act on their own within a regional context.
Consequently, and aside from the war in Iraq, between 2002 and 2005 the United States and seven of its Western allies were the targets of 17 major attacks in 11 countries for a total of 760 people killed. In 2001, Ayman al-Zawahiri had explained the cost-effective rationale of these measures, namely ''the need to inflict the maximum casualties against the opponent, for this is the language understood by the West, no matter how much time and effort such operations take." Last month, he reiterated that commitment and announced new attacks against the United States.
How can the war be brought to an end? Neither side can defeat the other. The United States will not be able to overpower a diffuse, ever-mutating, organized international militancy movement, whose struggle enjoys the rear-guard sympathy of large numbers of Muslims. Likewise, Al Qaeda can score tactical victories on the United States and its allies, but it cannot rout the world's sole superpower.
Though dismissed widely, the best strategy for the United States may well be to acknowledge and address the collective reasons in which Al Qaeda anchors its acts of force. Tongue-eating bug found in fish
A gross creature which gobbles up a fish's tongue and then replaces it with its own body has been found in Britain for the first time.The bug - which has the scientific name cymothoa exigua - was discovered inside the mouth of a red snapper bought from a London fishmonger.
The 3.5cm creature had grabbed onto the fish's tongue and slowly ate away at it until only a stub was left.
It then latched onto the stub and became the fish's "replacement tongue".

Scientists are very excited by the find.
Dr Jim Brock of the Horniman Museum in south London told Metro newspaper: "I have not seen this species in all my 13 years at the museum so it's a remarkable find."
The bugs are usually found off the coast of California, so it's possible the fish was imported to the UK.

But don't be too freaked out - scientists say the creature does not pose any threat to humans and only attaches itself to fish tongues.

The institute said that standard time should not be 0.9 of a second faster or slower than the actual astronomic time. The last time the atomic clock had a second added on was seven years ago.
Japan is not used to adjusting clocks, being the only major industrialized nation that does not practice daylight savings.

Al-Qaeda's long-term global plans outlined in book
Dubai, 7 sept. (AKI) - The Jihad - the holy war against the infidels being waged by al-Qaeda and other Islamic terror formations - will end in 2020 with the defeat of the West, predicts Fuad Hussein in his controversial new book 'Al-Zarqawi - al-Qaeda's second generation'. The book, published one chapter at a time by the London-based Arab newspaper al-Quds al-Arabi, details al-Qaeda's global game plan, which was conceived before the 11 September, 2001 terror attacks and is divided into seven operational phases.
The first stage, called the 'the awakening phase', started in 2000 with the preparation of the 11 September's attacks. With the attack on the World Trade Centre, ''the Muslim world woke up and saw the real America''.
Fuad Hussein argues that the turning point towards the second phase was the war on Iraq. During the "eye-opener phase", from 2003 to 2006, Muslims will become aware of the Americans' abuses against their land and belongings. And Al-Qaeda's leadership will experience a generation change in favour of Abu Musab Al-Zarqawi.

CHICAGO, Sept 5 (Reuters) - Children as young as 2 years old are influenced by whether their parents smoke and drink alcohol, researchers said on Monday.
In a study of 2- to 6-year-olds, children who were told to "shop" for groceries for a hungry doll were four times more likely to choose cigarettes if their parents smoked and three times more likely to pick wine or beer if their parents drank at least once a month.
Children who viewed PG-13 or R-rated movies were five times as likely to choose wine or beer.
Of the 120 children in the study, 28 percent bought cigarettes and 62 percent purchased alcohol among the average of 17 products chosen.
"Children's play behavior suggests that they are highly attentive to the use and enjoyment of alcohol and tobacco and have well-established expectations about how cigarettes and alcohol fit into social settings," wrote Madeline Dalton of Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire.
"Several children were also highly aware of cigarette brands, as illustrated by the 6-year-old boy who was able to identify the brand of cigarettes he was buying as Marlboros but could not identify the brand of his favorite cereal as Lucky Charms," Dalton wrote in the journal Archives of Pediatrics & Adolescent Medicine.

The Mandala Airlines Boeing 737-200 was heading to Jakarta in overcast weather when it plowed into a row of houses 500 yards from the airport and skidded onto a busy road in this city on northeast Sumatra island. Witnesses said some people were on fire as they fled the wreckage.
Firefighters struggled to put out the blaze, which engulfed dozens of houses and at least 10 cars, in a midmorning rainstorm. It was the sixth major jet crash worldwide since Aug. 1.
The plane was carrying 116 passengers and crew, airline spokesman Alex Widjojo said. There were differing accounts on the number of survivors.

The Associated Press is reporting that an Iraq war veteran was sentenced to three years in prison for molesting a 12-year-old girl he met in a METALLICA Internet chatroom.
Deputy District Attorney Megan Baldwin said the military service of Dario Ambriz (photo), a former Marine lance corporal, helped lower his sentence from the maximum penalty of eight years. Ambriz, 23, got an administrative discharge from the Marines after his arrest.
Superior Court Judge Timothy Staffel, who sentenced Ambriz on Thursday (Sept. 1), said the former Marine must register as a sex offender when he's released. Ambriz pleaded no contest July 28 to a felony county of lewd and lascivious acts against a child.
"It's just a tragic situation all the way around," defense attorney Adrian Andrade said. "A young man who defended his country in Iraq, without any prior record, should have received a county jail term."
While stationed at Camp Pendleton in 2004, Ambriz met the 12-year-old girl online in a chatroom for fans of the rock group METALLICA, prosecutors said. The Marine corresponded with the girl for about three months via e-mail and instant messages.
On Dec. 10, 2004, Ambriz drove to Santa Maria and had a sexual encounter with the child.
Ambriz grew up in Long Beach and joined the Marines at age 18. He spent six months in Iraq in 2003 and 2004.
Back in December 2004, two 19-year-old Georgia men were ordered to go before the grand jury in Tennessee on charges related to an overnight stay with two 12-year-old Maryville, TN girls whom they met through a METALLICA chatroom on the Internet.

Tekanan darah adalah tekanan yang dikenakan terhadap pembuluh arteri semasa peredaran darah yang disebabkan oleh denyutan jantung.
Bagaimana Tekanan Darah Diukur?
Tekanan darah ada dua ukuran dan biasanya diukur seperti berikut - 120 /80 mmHg. Nombor atas (120) menunjukkan tekanan keatas pembuluh arteri akibat denyutan jantung. Ia dipanggil tekanan sistolik. Nombor bawah (80) menunjukkan tekanan semasa jantung berehat di antara pengepaman. Ia dipanggil tekanan diastolik. Masa yang paling baik untuk mengukur tekanan darah adalah semasa anda rehat dan dalam keadaan duduk atau baring.
Tekanan Darah berubah-ubah
Kadar tekanan darah tidak sama sepanjang masa. Ia sering berubah-ubah mengikut keperluan badan anda. Jika tekanan darah anda tinggi, doktor anda akan memeriksa semula tekanan darah anda untuk beberapa kali bagi menentukan kadar tekanan darah anda yang sebenar.
Apakah dia tekanan darah tinggi?
Kadar tekanan darah yang sentiasa lebih tinggi dari kadar biasa untuk suatu jangkamasa yang yang lama. Kadar tersebut adalah melebihi kadar Tekanan darah optima iaitu 130 / 80 mmHg.
Tekanan darah tinggi kebiasaannya tidak menunjukan sebarang gejala. Anda mungkin mengalami tekanan darah tinggi dan pada masa yang sama ada merasa diri anda sihat. Berjumpa doktor adalah satu-satunya cara untuk mengetahui tekanan darah anda.
Akibat tekanan darah tinggi
Tekanan darah tinggi secara berkekalan beleh mendatangkan komplikasi seperti berikut
* serangan jantung
* angin ahmar
* kegagalan jantung
* kerosakan buah pinggang
Memastikan tekanan darah optima:
* memeriksa tekanan darah anda secara berkala sekurang-kurangnya 2 kali setahun atau lebih kerap bergantung kepada kadar tekanan darah anda
* tidak merokok - narkotin dalam rokok boleh mengakibatkan jantung berdenyut lebih cepat dan menyempitkan saluran salurnadi halus menyebabkan jantung terpaksa mengepam dengan lebih kuat bagi memenuhi keperluan badan anda
* kurangkan pengambilan garam - garam berlebihan dalam darah boleh menyebabkan lebih banyak air terpaksa disimpan di dalamnya dan ini mengakibatkan tekanan darah menjadi tinggi
* kurangkan lemak - lemak berlebihan akan terkumpul di sekeliling salur nadi dan menjadikannya tebal dan kejang
* kekalkan berat badan unggul
* bersenam secara berkala
* elakkan pengambilan alkohol
Peristiwa Israk Mikraj
1. Sebelum Israk dan Mikraj
Rasulullah S. A. W. mengalami pembedahan dada / perut, dilakukan oleh malaikat Jibrail dan Mika'il. Hati Baginda S. A. W.. dicuci dengan air zamzam, dibuang ketul hitam ('alaqah) iaitu tempat syaitan membisikkan waswasnya. Kemudian dituangkan hikmat, ilmu, dan iman. ke dalam dada Rasulullah S. A. W. Setelah itu, dadanya dijahit dan dimeterikan dengan "khatimin nubuwwah". Selesai pembedahan, didatangkan binatang bernama Buraq untuk ditunggangi oleh Rasulullah dalam perjalanan luar biasa yang dinamakan "Israk" itu.
2. Semasa Israk (Perjalanan dari Masjidil-Haram ke Masjidil-Aqsa):
Sepanjang perjalanan (israk) itu Rasulullah S. A. W. diiringi (ditemani) oleh malaikat Jibrail dan Israfil. Tiba di tempat-tempat tertentu (tempat-tempat yang mulia dan bersejarah), Rasulullah telah diarah oleh Jibrail supaya berhenti dan bersembahyang sebanyak dua rakaat. Antara tempat-tempat berkenaan ialah:
i. Negeri Thaibah (Madinah), tempat di mana Rasulullah akan melakukan hijrah. ii. Bukit Tursina, iaitu tempat Nabi Musa A. S. menerima wahyu daripada Allah; iii. Baitul-Laham (tempat Nabi 'Isa A. S. dilahirkan);
Dalam perjalanan itu juga baginda Rasulullah S. A. W. menghadapi gangguan jin 'Afrit dengan api jamung dan dapat menyasikan peristiwa-peristiwa simbolik yang amat ajaib. Antaranya :
§ Kaum yang sedang bertanam dan terus menuai hasil tanaman mereka. apabila dituai, hasil (buah) yang baru keluar semula seolah-olah belum lagi dituai. Hal ini berlaku berulang-ulang. Rasulullah S. A. W. dibertahu oleh Jibrail : Itulah kaum yang berjihad "Fisabilillah" yang digandakan pahala kebajikan sebanyak 700 kali ganda bahkan sehingga gandaan yang lebih banyak.
§ Tempat yang berbau harum. Rasulullah S. A. W. diberitahu oleh Jibrail : Itulah bau kubur Mayitah (tukang sisir rambut anak Fir'aun) bersama suaminya dan anak-anak-nya (termasuk bayi yang dapat bercakap untuk menguatkan iman ibunya) yang dibunuh oleh Fir'aun kerana tetapt teguh beriman kepada Allah (tak mahu mengakui Fir'aun sebagai Tuhan).
§ Sekumpulan orang yang sedang memecahkan kepala mereka. Setiap kali dipecahkan, kepala mereka sembuh kembali, lalu dipecahkan pula. Demikian dilakukan berkali-kali. Jibrail memberitahu Rasulullah: Itulah orang-orang yang berat kepala mereka untuk sujud (sembahyang).
§ Sekumpulan orang yang hanya menutup kemaluan mereka (qubul dan dubur) dengan secebis kain. Mereka dihalau seperti binatang ternakan. Mereka makan bara api dan batu dari neraka Jahannam. Kata Jibrail : Itulah orang-orang yang tidak mengeluarkan zakat harta mereka.
§ Satu kaum, lelaki dan perempuan, yang memakan daging mentah yang busuk sedangkan daging masak ada di sisi mereka. Kata Jibrail: Itulah lelaki dan perempuan yang melakukan zina sedangkan lelaki dan perempuan itu masing-masing mempunyai isteri / suami.
§ Lelaki yang berenang dalam sungai darah dan dilontarkan batu. Kata Jibrail: Itulah orang yang makan riba`.
§ Lelaki yang menghimpun seberkas kayu dan dia tak terdaya memikulnya, tapi ditambah lagi kayu yang lain. Kata Jibrail: Itulah orang tak dapat menunaikan amanah tetapi masih menerima amanah yang lain.
§ Satu kaum yang sedang menggunting lidah dan bibir mereka dengan penggunting besi berkali-kali. Setiap kali digunting, lidah dan bibir mereka kembali seperti biasa. Kata Jibrail: Itulah orang yang membuat fitnah dan mengatakan sesuatu yang dia sendiri tidak melakukannya.
§ Kaum yang mencakar muka dan dada mereka dengan kuku tembaga mereka. Kata Jibrail: Itulah orang yang memakan daging manusia (mengumpat) dan menjatuhkan maruah (mencela, menghinakan) orang.
§ Seekor lembu jantan yang besar keluar dari lubang yang sempit. Tak dapat dimasukinya semula lubang itu. Kata Jibrail: Itulah orang yang bercakap besar (Takabbur). Kemudian menyesal, tapi sudah terlambat.
§ Seorang perempuan dengan dulang yang penuh dengan pelbagai perhiasan. Rasulullah tidak memperdulikannya. Kata Jibrail: Itulah dunia. Jika Rasulullah memberi perhatian kepadanya, nescaya umat Islam akan mengutamakan dunia daripada akhirat.
§ Seorang perempuan tua duduk di tengah jalan dan menyuruh Rasulullah berhenti. Rasulullah S. A. W. tidak menghiraukannya. Kata Jibrail: Itulah orang yang mensesiakan umurnya sampai ke tua.
§ Seorang perempuan bongkok tiga menahan Rasulullah untuk bertanyakan sesuatu. Kata Jibrail: Itulah gambaran umur dunia yang sangat tua dan menanti saat hari kiamat.
Setibanya di masjid Al-Aqsa, Rasulullah turun dari Buraq. Kemudian masuk ke dalam masjid dan mengimamkan sembahyang dua rakaat dengan segala anbia` dan mursalin menjadi makmum.
Rasulullah S. A. W. terasa dahaga, lalu dibawa Jibrail dua bejana yang berisi arak dan susu. Rasulullah memilih susu lalu diminumnya. Kata Jibrail: Baginda membuat pilhan yang betul. Jika arak itu dipilih, nescaya ramai umat baginda akan menjadi sesat.
3. Semasa Mikraj (Naik ke Hadhratul-Qudus Menemui Allah):
Didatangkan Mikraj (tangga) yang indah dari syurga. Rasulullah S. A. W. dan Jibrail naik ke atas tangga pertama lalu terangkat ke pintu langit dunia (pintu Hafzhah).
. Langit Pertama: Rasulullah S. A. W. dan Jibrail masuk ke langit pertama, lalu berjumpa dengan Nabi Adam A. S. Kemudian dapat melihat orang-orang yang makan riba` dan harta anak yatim dan melihat orang berzina yang rupa dan kelakuan mereka sangat huduh dan buruk. Penzina lelaki bergantung pada susu penzina perempuan.
i. Langit Kedua: Nabi S. A. W. dan Jibrail naik tangga langit yang kedua, lalu masuk dan bertemu dengan Nabi 'Isa A. S. dan Nabi Yahya A. S.
ii. Langit Ketiga: Naik langit ketiga. Bertemu dengan Nabi Yusuf A. S. iii. Langit Keempat: Naik tangga langit keempat. Bertemu dengan Nabi Idris A. S.
iv. Langit Kelima: Naik tangga langit kelima. Bertemu dengan Nabi Harun A. S. yang dikelilingi oleh kaumnya Bani Israil.
v. Langit Keenam: Naik tangga langit keenam. Bertemu dengan Nabi-Nabi. Seterusnya dengan Nabi Musa A. S. Rasulullah mengangkat kepala (disuruh oleh Jibrail) lalu dapat melihat umat baginda sendiri yang ramai, termasuk 70,000 orang yang masuk syurga tanpa hisab.
vi. Langit Ketujuh: Naik tangga langit ketujuh dan masuk langit ketujuh lalu bertemu dengan Nabi Ibrahim Khalilullah yang sedang bersandar di Baitul-Ma'mur dihadapi oleh beberapa kaumnya. Kepada Rasulullah S. A. W., Nabi Ibrahim A. S. bersabda, "Engkau akan berjumapa dengan Allah pada malam ini. Umatmu adalah akhir umat dan terlalu dha'if, maka berdoalah untuk umatmu. Suruhlah umatmu menanam tanaman syurga iaitu lah HAULA WALA QUWWATA ILLA BILLAH". Mengikut riwayat lain, Nabi Irahim A. S. bersabda, "Sampaikan salamku kepada umatmu dan beritahu mereka, syurga itu baik tanahnya, tawar airnya dan tanamannya ialah lima kalimah, iaitu: SUBHANALLAH, WAL-HAMDULILLAH, WA lah ILAHA ILLALLAH ALLAHU AKBAR dan WA lah HAULA WA lah QUWWATA ILLA BILLAHIL- 'ALIYYIL-'AZHIM. Bagi orang yang membaca setiap kalimah ini akan ditanamkan sepohon pokok dalam syurga". Setelah melihat beberpa peristiwa! lain yang ajaib. Rasulullah dan Jibrail masuk ke dalam Baitul-Makmur dan bersembahyang (Baitul-Makmur ini betul-betul di atas Baitullah di Mekah).
vii. Tangga Kelapan: Di sinilah disebut "al-Kursi" yang berbetulan dengan dahan pokok Sidratul-Muntaha. Rasulullah S. A. W. menyaksikan pelbagai keajaiban pada pokok itu: Sungai air yang tak berubah, sungai susu, sungai arak dan sungai madu lebah. Buah, daun-daun, batang dan dahannya berubah-ubah warna dan bertukar menjadi permata-permata yang indah. Unggas-unggas emas berterbangan. Semua keindahan itu tak terperi oleh manusia. Baginda Rasulullah S. A. W. dapat menyaksikan pula sungai Al-Kautsar yang terus masuk ke syurga. Seterusnya baginda masuk ke syurga dan melihat neraka berserta dengan Malik penunggunya.
viii. Tangga Kesembilan: Di sini berbetulan dengan pucuk pokok Sidratul-Muntaha. Rasulullah S. A. W. masuk di dalam nur dan naik ke Mustawa dan Sharirul-Aqlam. Lalu dapat melihat seorang lelaki yang ghaib di dalam nur 'Arasy, iaitu lelaki di dunia yang lidahnya sering basah berzikir, hatinya tertumpu penuh kepada masjid dan tidak memaki ibu bapanya.
ix. Tangga Kesepuluh: Baginda Rasulullah sampai di Hadhratul-Qudus dan Hadhrat Rabbul-Arbab lalu dapat menyaksikan Allah S. W. T. dengan mata kepalanya, lantas sujud. Kemudian berlakulah dialog antara Allah dan Muhammad, Rasul-Nya:
Allah S. W. T : Ya Muhammad. Rasulullah : Labbaika. Allah S. W. T : Angkatlah kepalamu dan bermohonlah, Kami perkenankan. Rasulullah : Ya, Rabb. Engkau telah ambil Ibrahim sebagai Khalil dan Engkau berikan dia kerajaan yang besar. Engkau berkata-kata dengan Musa. Engkau berikan Dawud kerajaan yang besar dan dapat melembutkan besi. Engkau kurniakan kerajaan kepada Sulaiman yang tidak Engkau kurniakan kepada sesiapa pun dan memudahkan Sulaiman menguasai jin, manusia, syaitan dan angin. Engkau ajarkan 'Isa Taurat dan Injil. Dengan izin-Mu, dia dapat menyembuhkan orang buta, orang sufaq dan menghidupkan orang mati. Engkau lindungi dia dan ibunya daripada syaitan. Allah S. W. T : aku ambilmu sebagai kekasih. Aku perkenankanmu sebagai penyampai berita gembira dan amaran kepada umatmu. Aku buka dadamu dan buangkan dosamu. Aku jadikan umatmu sebaik-baik umat. Aku beri keutamaan dan keistimewaan kepadamu pada hari qiamat. Aku kurniakan tujuh ayat (surah Al-Fatihah) yang tidak aku kurniakan kepada sesiapa sebelummu. Aku berikanmu ayat-ayat di akhir surah al-Baqarah sebagai suatu perbendaharaan di bawah 'Arasy. Aku berikan habuan daripada kelebihan Islam, hijrah, sedekah dan amar makruf dan nahi munkar. Aku kurniakanmu panji-panji Liwa-ul-hamd, maka Adam dan semua yang lainnya di bawah panji-panjimu. Dan aku fardhukan atasmu dan umatmu lima puluh (waktu) sembahyang.
4. Selesai munajat, Rasulullah S. A. W. di bawa menemui Nabi Ibrahim A. S. kemudian Nabi Musa A. S. yang kemudiannya menyuruh Rasulullah S. A. W. merayu kepada Allah S. W. T agar diberi keringanan, mengurangkan jumlah waktu sembahyang itu. Selepas sembilan kali merayu, (setiap kali dikurangkan lima waktu), akhirnya Allah perkenan memfardhukan sembahyang lima waktu sehari semalam dengan mengekalkan nilainya sebanyak 50 waktu juga.
5. Selepas Mikraj
Rasulullah S. A. W. turun ke langit dunia semula. Seterusnya turun ke Baitul-Maqdis. Lalu menunggang Buraq perjalanan pulang ke Mekah pada malam yang sama. Dalam perjalanan ini baginda bertemu dengan beberapa peristiwa yang kemudiannya menjadi saksi (bukti) peristiwa Israk dan Mikraj yang amat ajaib itu (Daripada satu riwayat peristiwa itu berlaku pada malam Isnin, 27 Rejab, kira-kira 18 bulan sebelum hijrah). (Sumber : Kitab Jam'ul-Fawaa`id) Kesimpulannya, peristiwa Israk dan Mikraj bukan hanya sekadar sebuah kisah sejarah yang diceritakan kembali setiap kali 27 Rejab menjelang. Adalah lebih penting untuk kita menghayati pengajaran di sebalik peristiwa tersebut bagi meneladani perkara yang baik dan menjauhi perkara yang tidak baik. Peristiwa Israk dan Mikraj yang memperlihatkan pelbagai kejadian aneh yang penuh pengajaran seharusnya memberi keinsafan kepada kita agar sentiasa mengingati Allah dan takut kepada kekuasaan-Nya.
Seandainya peristiwa dalam Israk dan Mikraj ini dipelajari dan dihayati benar-benar kemungkinan manusia mampu mengelakkan dirinya daripada melakukan berbagai-bagai kejahatan. Kejadian Israk dan Mikraj juga adalah untuk menguji umat Islam (apakah percaya atau tidak dengan peristiwa tersebut). Orang-orang kafir di zaman Nabi Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam langsung tidak mempercayai, malahan memperolok-olokkan Nabi sebaik-baik Nabi bercerita kepada mereka.
Peristiwa Israk dan Mikraj itu merupakan ujian dan mukjizat yang membuktikan kudrat atau kekuasaan Allah Subhanahu Wataala. Allah Subhanahu Wataala telah menunjukkan bukti-bukti kekuasaan dan kebesaran-Nya kepada Baginda Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam.
Mafhum Firman Allah S. W. T. : "Maha Suci Allah yang telah memperjalankan hamba-Nya pada suatu malam dari Al-Masjidil Haram ke Al-Masjidil Aqsa yang telah kami berkati sekelilingnya agar Kami perlihatkan kepadanya sebahagian dari tanda-tanda kebesaran Kami. Sesungguhnya Dia adalah Maha Mendengar lagi Maha Melihat."

Penzina lelaki bergantung pada susu penzina perempuan.
i. Langit Kedua: Nabi S. A. W. dan Jibrail naik tangga langit yang kedua, lalu masuk dan bertemu dengan Nabi 'Isa A. S. dan Nabi Yahya A. S.
ii. Langit Ketiga: Naik langit ketiga. Bertemu dengan Nabi Yusuf A. S. iii. Langit Keempat: Naik tangga langit keempat. Bertemu dengan Nabi Idris A. S.
iv. Langit Kelima: Naik tangga langit kelima. Bertemu dengan Nabi Harun A. S. yang dikelilingi oleh kaumnya Bani Israil.
v. Langit Keenam: Naik tangga langit keenam. Bertemu dengan Nabi-Nabi. Seterusnya dengan Nabi Musa A. S. Rasulullah mengangkat kepala (disuruh oleh Jibrail) lalu dapat melihat umat baginda sendiri yang ramai, termasuk 70,000 orang yang masuk syurga tanpa hisab.
vi. Langit Ketujuh: Naik tangga langit ketujuh dan masuk langit ketujuh lalu bertemu dengan Nabi Ibrahim Khalilullah yang sedang bersandar di Baitul-Ma'mur dihadapi oleh beberapa kaumnya. Kepada Rasulullah S. A. W., Nabi Ibrahim A. S. bersabda, "Engkau akan berjumapa dengan Allah pada malam ini. Umatmu adalah akhir umat dan terlalu dha'if, maka berdoalah untuk umatmu. Suruhlah umatmu menanam tanaman syurga iaitu lah HAULA WALA QUWWATA ILLA BILLAH". Mengikut riwayat lain, Nabi Irahim A. S. bersabda, "Sampaikan salamku kepada umatmu dan beritahu mereka, syurga itu baik tanahnya, tawar airnya dan tanamannya ialah lima kalimah, iaitu: SUBHANALLAH, WAL-HAMDULILLAH, WA lah ILAHA ILLALLAH ALLAHU AKBAR dan WA lah HAULA WA lah QUWWATA ILLA BILLAHIL- 'ALIYYIL-'AZHIM. Bagi orang yang membaca setiap kalimah ini akan ditanamkan sepohon pokok dalam syurga". Setelah melihat beberpa peristiwa! lain yang ajaib. Rasulullah dan Jibrail masuk ke dalam Baitul-Makmur dan bersembahyang (Baitul-Makmur ini betul-betul di atas Baitullah di Mekah).
vii. Tangga Kelapan: Di sinilah disebut "al-Kursi" yang berbetulan dengan dahan pokok Sidratul-Muntaha. Rasulullah S. A. W. menyaksikan pelbagai keajaiban pada pokok itu: Sungai air yang tak berubah, sungai susu, sungai arak dan sungai madu lebah. Buah, daun-daun, batang dan dahannya berubah-ubah warna dan bertukar menjadi permata-permata yang indah. Unggas-unggas emas berterbangan. Semua keindahan itu tak terperi oleh manusia. Baginda Rasulullah S. A. W. dapat menyaksikan pula sungai Al-Kautsar yang terus masuk ke syurga. Seterusnya baginda masuk ke syurga dan melihat neraka berserta dengan Malik penunggunya.
viii. Tangga Kesembilan: Di sini berbetulan dengan pucuk pokok Sidratul-Muntaha. Rasulullah S. A. W. masuk di dalam nur dan naik ke Mustawa dan Sharirul-Aqlam. Lalu dapat melihat seorang lelaki yang ghaib di dalam nur 'Arasy, iaitu lelaki di dunia yang lidahnya sering basah berzikir, hatinya tertumpu penuh kepada masjid dan tidak memaki ibu bapanya.
ix. Tangga Kesepuluh: Baginda Rasulullah sampai di Hadhratul-Qudus dan Hadhrat Rabbul-Arbab lalu dapat menyaksikan Allah S. W. T. dengan mata kepalanya, lantas sujud. Kemudian berlakulah dialog antara Allah dan Muhammad, Rasul-Nya:
Allah S. W. T : Ya Muhammad. Rasulullah : Labbaika. Allah S. W. T : Angkatlah kepalamu dan bermohonlah, Kami perkenankan. Rasulullah : Ya, Rabb. Engkau telah ambil Ibrahim sebagai Khalil dan Engkau berikan dia kerajaan yang besar. Engkau berkata-kata dengan Musa. Engkau berikan Dawud kerajaan yang besar dan dapat melembutkan besi. Engkau kurniakan kerajaan kepada Sulaiman yang tidak Engkau kurniakan kepada sesiapa pun dan memudahkan Sulaiman menguasai jin, manusia, syaitan dan angin. Engkau ajarkan 'Isa Taurat dan Injil. Dengan izin-Mu, dia dapat menyembuhkan orang buta, orang sufaq dan menghidupkan orang mati. Engkau lindungi dia dan ibunya daripada syaitan. Allah S. W. T : aku ambilmu sebagai kekasih. Aku perkenankanmu sebagai penyampai berita gembira dan amaran kepada umatmu. Aku buka dadamu dan buangkan dosamu. Aku jadikan umatmu sebaik-baik umat. Aku beri keutamaan dan keistimewaan kepadamu pada hari qiamat. Aku kurniakan tujuh ayat (surah Al-Fatihah) yang tidak aku kurniakan kepada sesiapa sebelummu. Aku berikanmu ayat-ayat di akhir surah al-Baqarah sebagai suatu perbendaharaan di bawah 'Arasy. Aku berikan habuan daripada kelebihan Islam, hijrah, sedekah dan amar makruf dan nahi munkar. Aku kurniakanmu panji-panji Liwa-ul-hamd, maka Adam dan semua yang lainnya di bawah panji-panjimu. Dan aku fardhukan atasmu dan umatmu lima puluh (waktu) sembahyang.
4. Selesai munajat, Rasulullah S. A. W. di bawa menemui Nabi Ibrahim A. S. kemudian Nabi Musa A. S. yang kemudiannya menyuruh Rasulullah S. A. W. merayu kepada Allah S. W. T agar diberi keringanan, mengurangkan jumlah waktu sembahyang itu. Selepas sembilan kali merayu, (setiap kali dikurangkan lima waktu), akhirnya Allah perkenan memfardhukan sembahyang lima waktu sehari semalam dengan mengekalkan nilainya sebanyak 50 waktu juga.
5. Selepas Mikraj
Rasulullah S. A. W. turun ke langit dunia semula. Seterusnya turun ke Baitul-Maqdis. Lalu menunggang Buraq perjalanan pulang ke Mekah pada malam yang sama. Dalam perjalanan ini baginda bertemu dengan beberapa peristiwa yang kemudiannya menjadi saksi (bukti) peristiwa Israk dan Mikraj yang amat ajaib itu (Daripada satu riwayat peristiwa itu berlaku pada malam Isnin, 27 Rejab, kira-kira 18 bulan sebelum hijrah). (Sumber : Kitab Jam'ul-Fawaa`id) Kesimpulannya, peristiwa Israk dan Mikraj bukan hanya sekadar sebuah kisah sejarah yang diceritakan kembali setiap kali 27 Rejab menjelang. Adalah lebih penting untuk kita menghayati pengajaran di sebalik peristiwa tersebut bagi meneladani perkara yang baik dan menjauhi perkara yang tidak baik. Peristiwa Israk dan Mikraj yang memperlihatkan pelbagai kejadian aneh yang penuh pengajaran seharusnya memberi keinsafan kepada kita agar sentiasa mengingati Allah dan takut kepada kekuasaan-Nya.
Seandainya peristiwa dalam Israk dan Mikraj ini dipelajari dan dihayati benar-benar kemungkinan manusia mampu mengelakkan dirinya daripada melakukan berbagai-bagai kejahatan. Kejadian Israk dan Mikraj juga adalah untuk menguji umat Islam (apakah percaya atau tidak dengan peristiwa tersebut). Orang-orang kafir di zaman Nabi Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam langsung tidak mempercayai, malahan memperolok-olokkan Nabi sebaik-baik Nabi bercerita kepada mereka.
Peristiwa Israk dan Mikraj itu merupakan ujian dan mukjizat yang membuktikan kudrat atau kekuasaan Allah Subhanahu Wataala. Allah Subhanahu Wataala telah menunjukkan bukti-bukti kekuasaan dan kebesaran-Nya kepada Baginda Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam.
Mafhum Firman Allah S. W. T. : "Maha Suci Allah yang telah memperjalankan hamba-Nya pada suatu malam dari Al-Masjidil Haram ke Al-Masjidil Aqsa yang telah kami berkati sekelilingnya agar Kami perlihatkan kepadanya sebahagian dari tanda-tanda kebesaran Kami. Sesungguhnya Dia adalah Maha Mendengar lagi Maha Melihat."

Anti-rape condom aims to stop sexual assaults
KLEINMOND, South Africa - A South African inventor unveiled a new anti-rape female condom on Wednesday that hooks onto an attacker’s penis and aims to cut one of the highest rates of sexual assault in the world.“Nothing has ever been done to help a woman so that she does not get raped and I thought it was high time,” Sonette Ehlers, 57, said of the "rapex," a device worn like a tampon that has sparked controversy in a country used to daily reports of violent crime.
Police statistics show more than 50,000 rapes are reported every year, while experts say the real figure could be four times that as they say most rapes of acquaintances or children are never reported.
Ehlers said the “rapex” hooks onto the rapist’s skin, allowing the victim time to escape and helping to identify perpetrators.
“He will obviously be too pre-occupied at this stage,” Ehlers told reporters in Kleinmond, a small village about 60 miles east of Cape Town. “I promise you he is going to be too sore. He will go straight to hospital.” ~full articles
