hari ini dadaku bergetar
terguncang memilu dan mengerang
ku yakin ku tak salah
karna hatiku tak pernah dan takkan berdusta
cinta cinta cinta
aku jatuh cinta
esoknya ku pikir rasa itu
akan menghilang dengan seiring waktu
namun ternyata tak berubah
aku makin tergiur pada dirimu
cinta cinta cinta
aku jatuh cinta
dan seterusnya rasa ini selalu terjadi
dan tak pernah berkurang
hatiku hanya untuk dirimu
aku bahagia hanya bila kamu bahagia
esoknya ku pikir rasa itu
akan menghilang dengan seiring waktu
namun ternyata tak berubah
aku makin tergiur pada dirimu
cinta cinta cinta
aku jatuh cinta
dan seterusnya rasa ini selalu terjadi
dan tak pernah berkurang
hatiku hanya untuk dirimu
aku bahagia hanya bila kamu bahagia
dan seterusnya rasa ini selalu terjadi
dan tak pernah berkurang
hatiku hanya untuk dirimu
aku bahagia hanya bila kamu bahagia
bahagia

Internet access to overseas websites disrupted
Internet access to overseas websites disrupted:
PETALING JAYA: Local Internet access to overseas websites came to a crawl Wednesday after international links were disrupted by the earthquake in southern Taiwan.Related post: malaysia, news, internet, earthquake, isp, taiwan
Internet service provider (ISP) Jaring said the disruption started at about 3.45am Wednesday, and warned users to expect congestion to and from overseas websites during peak hours.
Internet service provider TM Net said the earthquake caused a fault on Asia Pacific Cable Network 2 links between Shantou, China and Tanshui, Taiwan, and between Lantau in Hong Kong and Chongming, China.
The disruption has caused outages to several TM Net international transit and peering links.
TM Net said Malaysian Internet users may experience some delay in accessing content and websites hosted overseas, especially in the United States, Japan, China, Taiwan, Korea and Europe.
Action is being taken to reduce traffic congestion by diverting traffic through backup links, it added.
TM Net customers can call 1-300-88-9515 or e-mail custcare@tm.net.my for further enquiries.

These days, all the major search engines send out a year-end list: what were the most popular search queries of the year? Scads of magazines, TV shows, newspapers, and blogs pick up on this theme also, either by picking their own or reporting on what the big sites and search engines say. It''s a real staple of year-end coverage to revisit the biggest celebrity names, trends and oddities that characterize the year just ending. Rather than tell you the most-frequently-searched words -- many of which are constants throughout the year -- we like to contrast which search terms grew significantly this year over last year. As a result our main lists enumerate queries about social networking sites (MySpace, Bebo), significant world news (Hezbollah, North Korea, Darfur), scandals (Duke lacrosse, page), and lots more. What's all mean? We think it gets interesting to look over periods longer than a single year, and that's what Google Trends aims to do. (It's also fun to compare the top lists for years past and ask, where are they now?) However much significance you give to year-end lists, December is an excellent time to look back. We hope you enjoy the view.

'Hibernating' man survives for 3 weeks
'Hibernating' man survives for 3 weeks:
TOKYO - A man who went missing in western Japan survived in near-freezing weather without food and water for over three weeks by falling into a state similar to hibernation, doctors said.Related post: yahoo, news, odd, tokyo, weird
Mitsutaka Uchikoshi had almost no pulse, his organs had all but shut down and his body temperature was 71 degrees Fahrenheit when he was discovered on Rokko mountain in late October, said doctors who treated him at the nearby Kobe City General Hospital. He had been missing for 24 days.
"On the second day, the sun was out, I was in a field, and I felt very comfortable. That's my last memory," Uchikoshi, 35, told reporters Tuesday before returning home from hospital. "I must have fallen asleep after that."
Doctors believe Uchikoshi, a city official from neighboring Nishinomiya who was visiting the mountain for a barbecue party, tripped and later lost consciousness in a remote mountainous area.
His body temperature soon plunged as he lay in 50-degree weather, greatly slowing down his metabolism.
"(Uchikoshi) fell into a state similar to hibernation and many of his organs slowed, but his brain was protected," said Dr. Shinichi Sato, head of the hospital's emergency unit. "I believe his brain capacity has recovered 100 percent."
Uchikoshi was treated for severe hypothermia, multiple organ failure and blood loss from his fall, but was unlikely to experience any lasting ill effects, Sato said.
Doctors were still uncertain how exactly Uchikoshi survived for weeks with his metabolism almost at a standstill.
In animals like squirrels or bears, hibernation reduces the amount of oxygen that cells need to survive, protecting them from damage to the brain and other organs.

Rebut anak kerbau: ujian DNA tentukan pemilik
PASIR PUTEH 20 Dis.
Timbalan Ketua Polis Daerah Pasir Puteh ASP Mohd.

Malaysia sets up Internet exchange to cut costs
Malaysia sets up Internet exchange to cut costs:
Malaysia launched a national Internet exchange on Dec 15, promising to cut costs and increase download speeds in line with its goal to become a technology hub.Related post: malaysia, news, internet, isp, business
The exchange allows Internet service providers (ISPs) to sidestep dominant phone company Telekom Malaysia, criticised for charging its rivals high fees for using its infrastructure.
"We need to have an efficient, effective and equitable Internet exchange that fulfils the needs of the industry, service providers and consumers," Energy, Water and Communications Minister Datuk Seri Dr Lim Keng Yaik said in launching the exchange.
Currently, local service providers prefer to route Internet traffic through international lines and foreign exchanges because they can be cheaper than services offered by Telekom or the other local infrastructure supplier, Jaring Communications.
As much as 30% of local Internet traffic is being routed to international lines, said an industry source, even though these were slower than going through Telekom or Jaring.
The exchange could cut operating expenses for ISPs by 8% to 15%, said Afzal Abdul Rahman, executive officer of Applied Information Management Services Sdn Bhd, one of the service providers on the exchange.
Seventeen ISPs, including heavyweights Maxis Bhd and Digi Bhd, have been admitted to the exchange. Telekom and Jaring are also members.

Dec 15 Launch For Malaysian Internet Exchange
Dec 15 Launch For Malaysian Internet Exchange:
SERI KEMBANGAN, Dec 7 (Bernama) -- Malaysia will be launching its Internet exchange on Dec 15, said Minister of Energy, Water and Communications, Datuk Seri Dr Lim Keng Yaik.Related post: internet, isp, malaysia, news, business
A Net exchange is a point for networks to interconnect directly rather through a third-party network. With the exchange, the cost to consumers would be reduced while bandwidth speed increased.
The plan to set up Malaysian Internet Exchange was proposed three years ago but failed to take off when the main players, TM Net Sdn Bhd and Jaring, failed to work together.
The setting of the exchange would attract international links to Malaysia and countries could start to route their connections to Malaysia instead of through Singapore.
Dr Lim also highlighted the huge and expanding market potential for information, communications and technology (ICT) in China during the official opening of the Asean-China Business Forum 2006 here today.
"Whenever I visit China, the one thing which continues to surprise me is their seamless mobile phone connectivity. They seem to have covered every nook and corner of their cities and even some rural locations. I hardly experienced dropped calls and signal strength issue," Dr Lim said.
He said this may be attributable to the fact that China produced its own telecommunications equipment.
"Chinese companies like Huawei and ZTE, design, manufacture and produce their own telecom equipment and as such, the capital outlay for equipment for their suppliers may be much lower than perhaps in Malaysia," Dr Lim said.
These companies, according to Dr Lim, could leverage on its big domestic market to drive down costs through economies of scale that would enable them to compete in the global market.
China has already taken the lead to implement the Asean-China information superhighway project, whereby a high capacity connection would be established between Asean and China.
During the Asean-China ICT Week, which was held in Malaysia last March, the ICT business communities of Asean and China discussed various opportunities for collaboration and came up with a number of initiatives.
"While supporting this initiative, we can also leverage on it for Internet traffic. At present, we do not have an intra Asean-China Internet exchange facility and this information superhighway can be a medium and facilitator for an Asean-China Net exchange," he said.

Escaped convict captured after 33 years
Escaped convict captured after 33 years - Yahoo! News:
NASHVILLE, Tenn. - A convicted murderer who escaped from a work release program 33 years ago was captured in Alabama, where he had been working construction jobs using his real name, U.S. Marshals announced Saturday.Related post: crime, escape, prison, break, news
Billy Wayne Hayes, 57, was arrested by marshals and police Friday night at a gas station in Dothan, Ala., nearly 350 miles from Nashville, where he had been imprisoned.
Hayes was sentenced in 1968 to serve 10 years at the Tennessee State Prison for second-degree murder in the shooting death of William Howard Ferguson, a Nashville paint contractor. He was assigned to a work release program and never returned after signing out for work on Dec. 21, 1972.
Tennessee Department of Corrections spokeswoman Dorinda Carter said Hayes' case was so old that information on it was not in the department's current computer system and would not be available until Monday.

And, by checking the box to remember your phone number, you can make future calls from Google Maps with just two mouse clicks.

+ The power of collaboration +
It seems that every article about technology innovation these days talks about the rising power of online sharing and collaboration. Before technology entered our lives in so many ways, of course, collaborating was most often done around a table. There's certainly a big -- perhaps bigger than ever -- need for face to face gatherings, of course. But perhaps the real power of today's online collaboration comes from its global dimension. Now it's entirely possible to meet and collaborate with strangers -- across continents even -- and accomplish something. We recently participated in a project with Global SchoolNet, a 20+ year-old organization founded by teachers who want students in our connected world to gain a global perspective. Using Google Docs & Spreadsheets, 80 students from 20 countries collaborated online to craft 50 ideas we all can use to do something about global warming, no matter where we live or what our circumstances. It's a small step, but we hope that having tools that enable easy online collaboration will lead to more productive, and more fun, ways to engage our neighbors across the world.

Other perks: You can view attachments like PDF files and pictures right on your mobile phone, and your Gmail account keeps itself in sync, which means if you send an email from your mobile device, you'll find it in the 'Sent Mail' folder on your PC.

Orkut talks
We've integrated Google Talk into orkut so that orkut users can stay in touch with their friends using Google Talk. By enabling Google Talk in your orkut account, you can check to see if your friends are online and using Google Talk. If they're available, chat with them or call, leave a voice message, and transfer files. There are also orkut-only features for Talk users: you can scrap your orkut pals, receive instant notifications when they scrap you, and jump quickly to different orkut profiles. Finally, orkut no longer requires an invite -- anyone can sign up for an account.

A new cover for Google Book Search
Google Book Search is now just about 2 years old, and we're celebrating with some improvements. Now you can zoom in on text and images and find the size that's best for you; view pages without waiting for each one to reload; scroll through books quickly using the scrollbar, your mouse wheel, or by simply dragging; and find related titles or scholarly references from the "More about this book" link.

Don't forget about Google Maps
We have just added Google Maps to your search history, so if you find yourself searching often for an address, a business, or directions, now you can browse, search for, and bookmark all the searches you do on Maps from Google Personalized Search. (You can already do this with your web, images, news, Froogle and video history.)

Get social with Google Calendar
If you're seeking more holiday festivities, or want to find local events in a new city, you can now search public events in Google Calendar. These are created by other Google Calendar users, and there are also movie listings, concerts and other fun happenings we've added with the help of partners. And if you don't find something of interest, you can list a public event of your own.

The new look of Google Desktop
The latest version of Google Desktop features a visual update to the Sidebar, the vertical bar on your desktop where you can conveniently organize your Google Gadgets. The Sidebar is now transparent, making a more seamless-looking desktop, and content-heavy gadgets sport new frames and icons. This new version of Google Desktop is also compatible with the latest software including Microsoft Vista, Office 2007 and Mozilla Firefox 2.0.

A buffed Google Page Creator
The latest iteration of Google Page Creator has three features to make website creation even easier. You can now edit images right from within your browser; create up to five sites with different URLs; and tell your friends to check out your site from their cell phones -- because every Google Page Creator site automatically has a mobile edition.
