Iron Maiden: Flight 666 (movie info)
British heavy rock legends, Iron Maiden, in association with Banger Productions, EMI Records, Universal (USA) and Arts Alliance Media, announce that they will be releasing a feature length documentary film into cinemas worldwide on April 21st 2009.
As you may know from Rod's tour diaries, Iron Maiden have been working on a feature length documentary. Entitled "Iron Maiden: Flight 666", the movie follows the band on the first leg of their Somewhere Back In Time World Tour in February and March of 2008 as they experienced the most ambitious and adventurous tour in rock history, and will be released in April 2009 in association with EMI Records and Universal in the USA.

UM Wifi Report: No 2/2009. 2000 wifi users daily
Dear students and staff,
Happy Chinese New Year to the Chinese and also to the Non-Chinese with the Chinese families and also Happy Holidays to every one of you.
UM wi-fi hotspots has increase to 749 as of today, there are only 256 more to go.
The current wi-fi usages statistics are:
- Each day these are about 2000 users logging in.
- Already 5300 different (unique) users have used this facility since Jan 12 2009.
- Everyday for 20 hours, these wifi users have generated a total of 36 Mb/s of Internet traffic. In anticipation of the impending traffic congestion, PTM in December 2008 had notified Internet Service Provider (Jaring) to increase the bandwidth capacity to 60 Mb/s. (BTW, for the cable Internet Gateway, the bandwidth is going to be increased from 155Mb/s to 200Mb/s by February 2009 and ultimately to 300Mb/s by the December 2009.)
I was told that when the new 1005 wifi are in operation, UM will be the university with the largest wifi facility.

Berikut adalah kenyataan pihak pentadbiran Universiti Malaya kepada warga kampus:
"KURANG 24 jam menjelang pilihan raya kecil P36 Kuala Terengganu esok, 17 Junuari masyarakat kampus Universiti Malay gempar dengan penemuan kepala babi yang diletakkan di surau Akademi Islam dalam kampus universiti berkenaan.
Kejadian itu disedari oleh seorang mahasiswa yang hendak mengerjakan solat Subuh pagi tadi.
Kepala babi itu dibelah dua diletakkan atas bendera Parti Islam SeMalaysia (Pas) dengan tertulis perkataan PAS, Pro-M dan PMI.
Perkataan Pas itu dimaksudkan kepada parti Pas manakala Pro-M kepada golongan yang menamakan mereka Pro-Mahasiswa yang kini sedang bertarung dengan golongan Aspirasi dalam pilihan kampus yang kini sedang berlangsung.
Sementara perkataan PMI itu pula dimaksudkan kepada Persatuan Mahasiswa Islam, universiti berkenaan.
Perbuatan itu sungguh keji dan menunjukkan sikap tidak bertamadun. Ianya tentulah mencabar keimanan dan sensitiviti mahasiswa dan umat Islam seluruhnya kerana babi adalah haiwan jijik dan diharamkan oleh Islam apa lagi ianya diletakkan di atas surau tempat yang dianggap suci." At 5 a.m, 16th of January 2009 the remains of a pig's head was found in the surau of Academy of Islamic Studies (API).
The Management of University of Malaya (UM) strongly condems this despicable act aimed at creating disunity. Further investigations are being conducted and security on campus will be tightened.

Sehinggalah Badrol dan Lim, serta rakan-rakan baru mereka terjerumus ke dalam misteri tersebut tanpa disengajakan. Seekor haiwan aneh yang tidak diketahui asalnya, menjalin persahabatan dengan Rajoo dan membawa mereka semua ke suatu pengembaraan, jauh ke dalam hutan hujan Malaysia yang penuh dengan hidupan liar, termasuk seekor ular gergasi yang mistik. Problem installing Twhirl over Adobe Air
If you having problem installing Twhirl over Adobe Air, and get Adobe Air file is damaged.Try install other application that require Adobe Air for example TwitterDeck.
After successfully install it, try install Twhirl again. Good luck. It solved my friend problem.

Malaysians are entertainment and tech junkies, says survey
PETALING JAYA: Malaysians rank fifth among 52 countries for being hooked to digital media for entertainment.
The survey by research firm The Nielsen Company showed Malaysians ranked third globally in terms of those who spent more than 20 hours a week watching streamed or downloaded content from the Internet.
It found that 53% of Malaysians played movies, videos, audio or game contents online in the past month, while 41% downloaded the same content from the Internet.
The findings are part of the biannual Nielsen Global Online Consumer Survey, which reached 26,000 online users including 500 Malaysians.
“For Malaysia, broadband penetration is only at 18%, but with the Government’s push to High Speed Broadband via fibre optics by 2010, we can expect the country to continue its climb up the media consumption ladder,” said Nielsen Malaysia Consumer Group managing director Paul Richmond.
The survey also found that respondents from emerging nations were heavier media users compared to those from developed countries.
The firm said because of low Internet penetration in emerging nations, respondents of the online survey skewed towards heavy users, while the sample in developed nations represented more of the general population.
It also attributed the results to emerging nations having an online population younger by an average of 10 years compared with developed nations.
It added that countries with piracy problems tend to perform better in the survey, which did not distinguish between users of legal or illegally obtained media.
