RM 20 broadband for students

TM Net aims broadband application at students:
SEREMBAN: TM Net Bhd wants to attract more students to subscribe to its edu-broadband content application, in line with plans to increase its broadband customer base by 400,000 this year.

Chief executive officer Michael Lai said the move would help further promote the use of broadband content and application in schools.

Speaking after the launch of TM Net’s online interactive educational module, B-Smart, he said TM Net’s Multimedia in Education Malaysia programme could guide schoolchildren on the techniques of e-learning.

Lai said TM Net now had more than two million dial-up users and was working hard to convert them to broadband.
